Cooking ingredients
- 360g Jollof Jar
- 3 cups washed rice. Use parboiled long grain or sella basmati rice.
- 1 cup broth
- 2 cups water
- Salt to taste
- Bouillon cubes (optional)
- 1 stick of butter
Cooking instructions.
- Empty Jollof Jar into a pot, add salt, bouillon cubes (optional), 3 cups washed rice & stir.
- Pour in 1 cup broth + 2 cups water & stir.
- Cover with pot's lid & foil, simmer on medium heat for 30 minutes.
- Add 1 stick of butter & simmer on slightly higer heat for 5 minutes until cooked.
- Fluff rice gently and serve hot.
- Pair with protein & vegetable of choice.
